Automated events and actions

A system administrator can define events for specific worksheets in defined circumstances. Additional qualifying conditions can restrict these events to a subset of worksheets.

Once defined, the worksheets can be configured so that when the events occur, they cause automated actions.

For example, it is possible to:

  1. Define an event that occurs when a licence is issued, but only if it is assigned to either of two named officers.

    and

  2. Configure a Licence application type so that when this event occurs, a letter is created using a particular template.

Note

Automated events and actions are not currently supported for Contaminated Land Site, HMO Detail, and PWS Detail records.
