Search for Building Control inspections in ASSURE

You can search ASSURE for Building Control inspections.

  1. On the menu bar, click Search and then General Search.

    The General Search screen appears.

  2. Enter the search criteria. You cannot combine Building Control inspection search criteria with criteria from any other module.

    Description

    Application Number

    The Application Number of a particular Building Control application whose inspections you want to search.

    Date Type*

    You can search inspections by scheduled date, actual date, or both:

    • Scheduled Date

    • Actual Date

    Include only inspections on or after the Date From date, and on or before the Date To date.

    Click Add Row to add this date criterion.

    Additional Filter*

    A filter type:

    • Site Visit Officer

      Click Add Row to open a Site Visit Officer dialog in which you can select one or more Inspection Officers.

    • Site Address

      Type all or part of the required site, phase, or plot address.

    * You can specify multiple dates and filters. Click red cross icon Delete Row to remove a date or filter.

  3. Click Search.

    The search results are tabulated and paged. You can vary the number of results shown on each page (either 10, 20 or 50 results).

    You can change and reorder the columns in the table by using the Cog menu that appears immediately above and to the left; ASSURE remembers your choices the next time you log in. You can also sort the results by any column, but ASSURE reinstates the default sort order at the next search.

    There is a separate row for each found inspection.

    Description

    Application Number

    An Application Number of the Building Control application.

    • If this number is linked, you can click it to open the application in a separate browser tab.

    Site Address

    The description of the development address.

    Site Unit

    Either SITE, PHASE, or PLOT.

    Site Unit Name

    The name of the site, phase, or plot (the name of the site is always simply Site).

    Scheduled Time

    The scheduled date and time of the visit that includes the inspection.

    Inspection Date

    The actual date and time of the visit.

    Inspection

    The name of the inspection.

    • If this name is linked, you can click it add or edit the findings of the inspection.

    Result

    The result of the inspection.

    Officer Name

    The name of the Inspection Officer.

    Notes

    Any notes included in the findings.

    BSR Project Ref No

    Identifies Building Control applications sourced from the Building Safety Regulator.

  4. You can select one or more search results and then use the buttons below the table.

    • Tick the checkboxes of individual results to select them.

    • Click Select All to select all the results.

    • Click Select Displayed to select the results on the current page.

    • Click Clear All to de-select all results.

    The Actions button is available only if at least one search result is selected:

    • Allocate Officer: Adds the same Inspection Officer to all selected inspections.

    • Add Result: Adds the same result to all selected inspections.

    • Add Notes: Adds the same note to all selected inspections.
