You can withdraw one or more selected Planning applications found by searching. The status of the selected applications must be New, Invalid, Non-Invalid, Registered, or Online.
A withdrawn application can be resurrected.
Withdrawing applications

Use the General Search screen to find the applications, and select them.

Click and select Withdraw Application.
If any of the selected applications do not have the correct status, ASSURE warns you that they will be ignored.
For each application with a valid status:

ASSURE adds a final decision where the Decision Type is Withdrawn, the Decision Status is Final Decision, the Decision Level is Withdrawn Council (or the equivalent values in your authority), and the Decision Date is today.

The status becomes Withdrawn. No further changes can be made to the withdrawn application, apart from post-decision actions, although the Letters tab remains available.
