Licence keys

Your authority's ability to use ASSURE depends on what licensed features have been purchased. When a licensable feature is purchased, NEC Software Solutions provides a licence key to activate that feature and later — if the feature is time-limited — a replacement key to renew it. These licence keys are managed by ASSURE system administrators.

Notification of expiry

ASSURE issues pop-up notifications like the one below to system administrators in the days leading up to a licence's expiry date, according to a fixed timetable.

Citizens Advice Connector licence will expire on 16/12/2025. Renew your licence to avoid any inconvenience.

When a notification is due, it appears to every system administrator who logs in on that day. If a system administrator does not log in on that day, they will miss that day's notification.
