Manage licence keys

Your authority's ability to use ASSURE depends on what licensed features have been purchased. When a licensable feature is purchased, NEC Software Solutions provides a licence key to activate that feature and later — if the feature is time-limited — a replacement key to renew it. These licence keys are managed by ASSURE system administrators.

  1. On the System Administration screen, click Licence Keys.

    The Licence Keys screen appears.

  2. Click Edit next to the key that you want to add or renew.

  3. Copy and paste the supplied key into the Licence Key box. If renewing, you must completely replace the current key with the new key.

    The Expiry Date updates automatically. If the Expiry Date is red, this means that the licence will expire in less than 60 days.

  4. Click OK.
