Install NEC DM Enterprise Desktop Integration (EDI)
The NEC DM Enterprise Desktop Integration (EDI) application is not required, but if you are using Microsoft Word to edit documents before distribution, EDI makes it easier by automatically opening Word and checking the documents back into the NEC Document Management repository when you are finished.
NEC DM Enterprise Desktop Integration used to be referred to as Aspect Desktop Integration (ADI).
Important
To install EDI you must be logged on to your computer with an account that has local administration privileges. If you are not sure, ask a system administrator for help.

Click the Hello, Your Name link at the top right corner of the screen, and then click Manage My Account.
The My Details screen appears, showing your current user details.

.The EDI executable file is downloaded to your computer.

Run the executable by double-clicking it.

If an Application Install - Security Warning dialog appears, click Install.
The EDI icon
is added to the Windows notification area (also known as the system tray). If the notification area is area full the icon will be added to the notification area overflow.

If you need to open the NEC DM Enterprise Desktop Integration window, right-click the EDI icon and select Details from the context menu.
