Change and use your dashboards

The Officer Workload dashboard you see when you log in to ASSURE is either the one assigned to you or, if none is assigned, the default dashboard used by your authority. Depending on how your system is configured, you may be able to switch to another Officer Workload dashboard.

You may also be able to configure your own personal dashboard, known simply as My Dashboard, by adding up to four charts, each of which represents a different report, also known as a dashlet.

Switching to another dashboard

  • On the menu bar, click Dashboard, and then click the dashboard you want.

Your default dashboard is marked by an * asterisk.

Using your Officer Workload dashboard

An Officer Workload dashboard typically consists of a bar chart or pie chart showing the work allocated to you, broken down by status. An adjacent report tabulates the worksheet details.

  • To open a listed application or worksheet in another tab of your browser, click its linked reference in the report.

  • To restrict the report to show only work with a particular status, click the "bar" or "slice" of the chart that corresponds to that status.

  • To sort or filter the report, click a column heading; a mini-toolbar appears:

    • Use the Format button to either hide the column or change its appearance (font, colour, background, and so on).

    • Use the Column filter button to show only rows where the values in this column do or do not: equal, start with, end with, or contain a specified string.

    • Use the Sort ascending or Sort descending button to sort the table by the values in this column.

  • To resize the report, click the Maximise button.

  • To export the report, click the Export button and choose which format you require.

For the PP Officer Workload and PP Officer Workload Details dashboards, you can select a different Officer and click Apply to view their workload rather than your own.

Configuring your My Dashboard

  1. On the menu bar, click Dashboard, and then click My Dashboard.

The My Dashboard screen appears, showing any dashlets you have already configured.

  2. Click Edit My Dashboard.

The Edit My Dashboard screen appears.

  3. Tick or untick the Select checkboxes of the available dashlets that you want to include on My Dashboard.

You can select up to four dashlets.

  4. Click Save to return to the My Dashboard screen.

Using your My Dashboard

Your My Dashboard works like your Officer Workload dashboard except that the selected charts are displayed together on the My Dashboard screen but any related tabular reports are separately displayed on a Full Report screen.
