Withdraw selected Asset applications

You can withdraw one or more selected Asset applications found by searching.

• The status of the selected applications cannot be Approved, Approved - Appeal Decided or Refused.

• A withdrawn application is uneditable, apart from the Letters tab.

• A withdrawn application can be resurrected.

Withdrawing applications

1. Use the General Search screen to find the applications, and select them.

2. Click Actions and select Withdraw Application.

   If any of the selected applications do not have the correct status, ASSURE warns you that they will be ignored.

   Otherwise, the Withdrawal Of Application dialog opens.

3. Tick Make Public? if you want the withdrawn applications to be visible in the Asset Explorer (or any other).

4. Specify whether the applications have been Withdrawn By the Council (which is the default) or the Applicant. Enter the Withdrawal Date, and any explanatory Notes.

5. Click Complete and confirm.

   • The status of the applications becomes Withdrawn.

   • ASSURE automatically creates a corresponding note and an event; these are visible from the Notes and Events buttons at the bottom of the Asset applications.
