Create a statutory consultee

Provided that your authority has licensed the Statutory Consultations feature of ASSURE, any system administrator can create an ASSURE user with the Statutory Consultee role.

1. On the System Administration screen, click Users.

   The User Setup screen appears.

2. Click Create Consultee User.

   The Create Consultee User screen appears.

3. Specify the user's details.

   Create Consultee User

   Field	Description
   Contact Title	The user's title.
   First Name*	The user's first name.
   Last Name*	The user's last name (surname).
   Email Address*	The user's email address. This cannot be the same as any other ASSURE user.
   * Mandatory fields.

4. Click Create to create the user and return to the User Setup screen.

   The new user is listed as a Statutory Consultee.

ASSURE immediately sends an email to the specified user. The email provides a default password, and includes a link to the ASSURE portal. When the user first logs in, they are forced to change their password.
