Cancel an LC Search request

You can cancel an LC Search request found by searching, although a new search is not merely cancelled but deleted. A cancelled search can be viewed, but cannot be uncancelled.

Cancelling a search

  1. Use the General Search screen to find the search, and select it.

    Tell me how

    The status of the selected search must be NEW, VALID, INVALID, ENQUIRIES COMPLETE or ON LINE.

  2. Click Actions and then select Cancel Search and confirm.

    The search's Status becomes CANCELLED, unless it was previously NEW in which case the LC Search request is simply deleted.

Deleting a search automatically removes any associated documents from the NEC Document Management repository.
