Email the Search Report
You can email the Search Report to the enquirer if the status is COMPLETE, the online channel is neither NLIS nor SSS, the enquirer’s preferred method of contact is by email, and they actually have an email address.
Emailing the Search Report to the enquirer with a covering letter

Use the General Search screen to find the search, and select it.

Click Send Email.
and then selectThe Documents screen appears:

Submitted Reference is set to the Search Number.

Product and Document Group are both set to Land Charges.

In the Template list, select the template of a suitable covering letter.
Only templates with a Document Type of Land Charges Search Report are available for selection.
The Recipient Type defaults to Enquirer.

If the chosen template allows it, you can click
to edit the predefined content of the email, and add and remove attachments.The Search Report and VAT Receipt Report associated with the search type are attached to the email by default, as are any documents on the Attachments tab of the LC Search request that are marked for inclusion in the Search Report.

Make any other changes as required.

Click
.The Document Queue screen appears and the covering letter is processed as usual. The letter and its progress are also shown on the Letters tab of the LC Search request.
