Close selected Public Protection worksheets

You can close (complete) one or more selected Public Protection worksheets found by searching. The worksheets must be in-progress (that is, not completed) and you must have permission to update them.

Closing worksheets

  1. Use the General Search screen to find the worksheets, and then select them.

    Tell me how

  2. Click Actions and select Batch Close. If more than 500 worksheets are selected you must confirm that you want to continue.

    The Batch Close dialog opens.

  3. In the Completed Date and Time fields, specify the values to be entered in the Completed On: Actual Date and Time fields on the worksheets' Progress tab. This cannot be a future date or time.

  4. In the Outcome list, select the Completion Outcome.

  5. Optionally, tick the Set First Response checkbox if you also want to set the same First Response: Actual Date and Time.

  6. Click Continue.

For each worksheet, ASSURE attempts to update the Progress tab. Each worksheet is marked by success or failure, explained by a status.

    Show meClosed

  7. If there are any failures that can be immediately remedied by a different completion date or outcome, click Refresh, enter new parameters and then click Continue to try again.

  8. If all worksheets are successfully closed, or if some need further editing to complete, click Close.

Notes

Whether or not a worksheet can be completed automatically when it has outstanding actions depends on the Check O/S Actions on Completion setting in each worksheet's default configuration.

Outcome codes may not be available if they have been restricted to certain applications, task groups, or task (worksheet) types.
